The Silly Super Schnoodle characters were created by Norfolk based writer Pammie Stevens, based on her real-life family of dogs. After falling in love with her daughter’s own Schnoodle (the legend that is Nanna Noodle), Pammie became hooked on the breed and from this point forward she was obsessed with all things Schnoodle!
Pammie was so inspired by their friendly, strong characters she set about writing & publishing her first children’s picture book called, ‘The Silly Super Schnoodle's trip to the Sea Shore’, the first of a series of three stories.
Pammie grew up around animals and is a keen horsewoman, originally training to become a riding instructor. As a mature student she decided to go back University and holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Cell and Molecular Biology. She worked in the pharmaceutical sales industry for the last 20 years and was made redundant just prior to the Covid pandemic in early 2020. What could have been a major setback for Pammie, was in fact the motivation she needed to follow a different career path, that of a children’s writer.
‘I’ve always thought about writing a book and my Schnoodles are such clowns and so full of fun, it seemed to be too good an opportunity to miss’. I found my brilliant illustrator, Joshua Morgan and he has been able to transfer the images in my head onto paper – a very rare and special trait! I am hoping to increase the awareness and popularity of the breed but ultimately, my books offer fun way for children to learn and enjoy reading, enhancing their key-stage skills.’

ABOUT PAMMIE’S BREEDING PROGRAMMEPammie is breeding the Super Schnoodles so she can apply for new breed recognition with the Kennel Club UK, for pedigree status. A Geneticist from the Kennel Club has designed an algorithm specifically for Pammie’s breeding program, so that the Schnoodles are bred to extremely high standards.
All the Schnoodle puppies must be screened for an exact set of DNA health tests and have clear, annual BVA Eye Certificates. Pammie believes the breed makes ideal family pets as they are non-shedding (both parent breeds are non-shedding which is unique to this Poodle cross breed), they are a very manageable size, they are very, very good natured, very trainable and very healthy dogs.
The Super Schnoodles are all great characters, have their own personalities and are hilariously good fun!
